Due to the issues we experienced with the web portal at the default set times for this match, we have reset/extended the current match and urge both players reschedule within the next 2 week period. Both players are required to use this match communication thread to relay all matchtime proposals otherwise risk forfeits due to inactivity.
Amateur Division Match Format – “Conquest”:
All matches will be played as a best-of-5 series (bo5). The first player to win 3 games within the match is
considered the winner of the match.
Each player must submit three unique classes prior to each match of the event beforehand using the
automated online system. Players will then announce these classes via client to their opponent at the
time of the match. A player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match.
When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of
the match.
The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice.
Players will be told what classes their opponent has available, but they won’t know which class is picked
until both players have picked.
Professional Division Match Format – “Conquest”:
Each professional player must submit deck lists to CEVO staff from three unique classes prior to each
week of the group stage of the event. Players may also submit new deck lists 48 hours prior to the
online Playoff event.
A player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match.
When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of
the match.
Rule Violation :
D. If a Player selects a deck with a class that he or she has already achieved a win with, the game
should be remade and both players may switch decks (the winner of the previous game being required to)
